By

This mixed bookcase and moggy palace called CatCase is sold by UrbanCatDesign (CamelCase) for 1250 euro. For that price you get Dutch design, MDF, and a choice of carpet colours.

  1. Haha, your kidding, right… 1250 Euro? Maybe for trendy, up & coming young professional Amsterdammers trying to impress. I may not be a slick designer type, but about 30 years ago I had two cats and many books, and as space was at a premium in my small apartment, I made a similar piece of furniture using orange crates, sandpaper, paint and carpet remnants.

  2. I hear you. Well, if they can find people who want to pay that much… I’d sooner build something myself, but I am not a designer, so my efforts would probably bring down the value of the house, nay the neighbourhood, even the city. :-)

  3. This is great! I’ve been looking for something like this without knowing it…. Such a simple idea when you think about it. I rather have this in my house than a stack of orange crates :-)
