Breaking: sex with animals finally illegal
Way back in 2007 we wrote ‘Netherlands top distributors of animal porn‘, which still is one of the most used search words (‘animal porn’) on 24oranges. And after a tougher article ‘Man ‘rapes’ sheep, but did the sheep suffer?‘, the Dutch government has finally decided that sex with animals is illegal and will be banning animal porn as well.
I bet you there will be a run on animal porn, but we don’t plan on really checking.

I hope their union lodges formal complaints.
It’s not that I practice or support this activity, but I have nothing against it as long as it doesn’t affect the animal’s health or well being.
How about sex between male animals and women? There’s no way that animal will suffer.
My gerbil is going to be very disappointed.
All jokes aside, I think the reason this was probably never a law is because it’s the type of thing you really shouldn’t need to tell someone. People should just know that it’s wrong.
…well that and lawmakers back in the day were likely reasonably unaware it was even happening.
Alex, even the Old Testament mentions bestiality. Let me look that up, ah yes: Leviticus 18:23 “Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.”
Wow. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.
